A commissioned work by Audray Julien and Stefania Skoryna

HALVES is a reflection on shadows. Where do they go when we leave, where do they take refuge when the lights go out? While this question seems nonsensical in itself, it raises the following question: what happens to a person or a thing when its fundamental nature, its identity, is taken away? How can we dance the void? Shadows are like another self, those parts of us that live on the other side, buried in our deepest recesses, strayed as far as possible from our reach. They are our lost love, evaporated, seized, broken. They are our "if onlys", our multiple fractured realities, our forgotten selves.
